ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for leading the day to day development and implementation of a purpose-driven sports project. This role will include detailed management of various pillars of the project, logistic and strategic input, stakeholder management both internally and externally, leading multiple work streams from development through to execution and reporting. They will report to the Account Director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day management of the project, including stakeholder management and coordination, client liaison and execution of project activities, in collaboration with the project team.

Drive the project to successfully achieve key project objectives while looking for opportunities to more effectively reach these milestones.

Management and reconciliation of project budget and accounting requirements, in conjunction with senior management and 17 Sport finance team.

Collaboration with the entire project team to varying degrees on all aspects of the project, supervision of account manager, external consultants and project intern/s, as applicable.

Develop, maintain, and communicate project timeline.

Proactively plan strategies to mitigate project risks that involve: resource management and identifying and clearing bottle necks.
REQUIREMENTS

3-4 years experience in an account services role with major brands, sports properties, sport-for-development or agency/management consulting, via employment, internships or freelance.

Organized with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and successful experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Monday.com).

Strong individual conviction around the power and potential for sport to deliver a better world.

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to work with team members from different backgrounds and cultures.

Ability to work remotely and travel when necessary.

Fluent in the English language,

Professional working proficiency in French highly preferred
